The campaign is supported by IMIC e.V. (Intercultural Migrant Integration Center e.V.), in cooperation with Derya Yildirim and Oktay Özdemir from the Hamburg Academy of Police. Neue Werbekampagne der Hamburger Polizei: Bewerbungen von  Migranten aus Afrika sind willkommen

„Neu, stark und selbstbewusst“, so Hamburgs Innensenator Andy Grote, will die Hamburger Polizei mit ihrer aktuellen Werbekampagne junge Bewerber/innen für die unterschiedlichen Laufbahnen als Polizist/in gewinnen und dabei auch Migranten ansprechen. „Afrikanische Migranten sind uns dabei sehr willkommen“, bestätigt Björn Wichmann, Leiter der Einstellungsstelle an der Hamburger Akademie der Polizei. Gestartet wird mit den Motiven „#Zielsicher“, „#Träume leben“ und „#Baywatscher“, die für unterschiedliche Werbeträger und filmisch emotional, prägnant und manchmal provokant die Attraktivität der Hamburger Polizei herausstellen sollen. Die Kampagne wird unterstützt vom IMIC e.V. (Interkulturelles Migranten Integrations Center e.V.), in Zusammenarbeit mit Derya Yildirim und Oktay Özdemir von der Hamburger Akademie der Polizei. Derzeit werden an der Hamburg Akademie der Polizei 250 angehende Polizisten/innen ausgebildet, schon bald sollen es 500 sein. Darauf aufbauend will Innensenator Andy Grote die bisherige Personalausstattung in den nächsten fünf Jahren um ein Drittel ausbauen. Die Kampagne steht nicht allein für sich, so der Senator, damit verbunden ist eine Modernisierung und Professionalisierung der Polizei, ausgerichtet auf die neue Generation der Digital Natives, die beispielsweise am Arbeitsplatz digitale Arbeitsmittel erwartet. Hinzu kommen neue Dienstzeitmodelle bis hin zu Heimarbeitsplätzen, um auch hier den neuen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden.
